“Bullfighting in Quito”

nowadays is been given a secondary
place. However, in Quito we are lucky enough to still have a lot of cultural
expressions, and one of the key parts of this city´s culture and traditions is bullfighting;
therefore, it must be preserved. This fact can be easily proved and argued by
analyzing and studying scientific and historical evidence as well as various
interviews with cattle farms owners, bullfighters and bullring´s authorities.
After this compelling research I finally reached three main conclusions: Bullfighting as an
artistic and cultural expression represent Quito´s cultural mixture, it
involves economic aspects that enhances the wellbeing of the people in the city
and finally, it helps to preserve the natural richness within the Distrito
Metropolitano de Quto. This is a wake up call for young people, to acknowledge
how beneficial this activity, and culture itself is for our society and for us.
