Conclusion

In conclusion, bullfighting is one of the cultural expression that most embraces  Quito´s culture. This representation is a clear prof of our history and tradition which makes it not only unique but also fundamental  and worth of being  protected and preserved.

One of the most important factors to take into account is the cultural part of bullfights. They embody the mixture of cultures that Quito possesses . It came along with language, religion, paintings and  other traditional expressions  that are what constitute the marvelous Ecuadorian culture.

An important feature, maybe not as well  known as it should be, is the economic  aspect that this activity involves. Bullfighting enhances the wellbeing of the people in Quito by providing a huge source of work and capital.

Lastly, it is also an important fact to acknowledge the natural and environmental factors of bullfighting. Due to the breeding of the fighting bull, there are a lot of native species preserved and a lot of country-side natural spaces which are intact and of course, contribute to the quality of the environment in the Distrito Metropolitano de Quito.

So, it can be concluded that bullfighting activity is not just a festivity without importance as may conceive it to be. It goes much further than that, embracing in a exemplary  way Quito´s culture, enhancing its economy and preserving its nature. All this makes bullfighting an artistic expression that must be protected and preserved.
